Cybersecurity conference to be held in Bao'an
The 2020 Cybersecurity Conference for the Bay Area will be held at the World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao'an District on Nov. 28 and 29.
Attendees will discuss cybersecurity macro policies, practices and solutions in cybersecurity construction against the backdrop of 5G+AI and new infrastructure development, the Shenzhen Municipal Government announced at a press conference Wednesday.
The conference is jointly organized by Shenzhen's government affairs service data administration, the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau, Shenzhen Internet Information Office and Shenzhen Cryptography Administration.
The conference will set up onsite interactive exhibition areas to show security construction of typical 5G+AI scenarios like smart city and smart transportation, the protection plans of well-known Internet companies facing cyber threats and technological applications and displays of top, innovative Internet companies.
The conference will also be live streamed online through the "i深圳" app for viewers.
"The conference will have two main forums and 15 parallel forums over two days and is expected to attract 1,500 visitors on site," Li Jiachen, director of the city's government affairs service data administration, said at the press conference.
During the cybersecurity conference, a State-level cybersecurity contest will be held. Through the online contest, the organizers hope to find and select professionals in cybersecurity, and improve self-protection capabilities of key departments, information security enterprises, research institutes and higher learning institutions.
